Watersong

We stayed at the beautiful Watersong for 6 days and 5 nights in December 2022. This property was easy to find, and the door code was e-mailed to us in plenty of time for check-in at 4:00. I would suggest you download the Hospitality app (directions given when management e-mails you) to your phone for correspondence from the management team. This made everything easy as we always had a phone with us. We were surprised at how close the house is to the beach! Some days, we just sat on one of the two huge porches instead of taking chairs to the beach. Sitting on the porch was almost as close as a beach chair on the sand! The two porches had comfortable and sturdy furniture including tables, benches, and rockers. The layout of the home was just perfect for us since each bedroom had a bath attached with either complete privacy or a double-door system so that there was access one of two ways. The furniture was comfortable and laid out perfectly to enjoy the views. The open concept helped us all to feel included during meal prep and clean up. The dining room table was ideal for meals and board games in the evening. We were there during a severe cold snap and had wonderful response from the management team when we reached out about weather-related issues. Even though it was Christmas, we always had timely answers and help if needed. We would love to come back and enjoy the sparkling pool! It was just too cold this time, but it is a perfect size to enjoy. We rented bikes, helmets, Cornhole, chairs, and umbrellas from the management company. They were there when we arrived and picked up the day we left. We rode bikes along the beach, walked our dog often, kayaked to the nature preserve, ate at The Indian Pass Raw Bar, drove into downtown Port St. Joe to shop, and had a terrific time making memories. We saw multiple dolphins, and the sunrise and sunset from the house were just breathtaking. This is truly a top-notch vacation rental and worth every penny.

Our stay was great! This home has all you need for an awesome vacation. We had three families stay here for over a week. All kids fit in the fun bunk room! Every room had its own bathroom! Kitchen has all the appliances you need for cooking. The grill outside was extremely clean which was awesome!
The pool was extremely warm which made for hours of fun for kids even when a few of our days were cold and windy.
Also the distance to the beach and ocean was soo close it was amazing! We saw dolphins every day of our stays.
This house was 10/10!!

Major kudos to Donna and the team at Be Our Guest!! We were at Watersong for about 2 months and it could not have been any better. Devil is in the details....VERY CLEAN, there was enough laundry and dish detergent supplied for our entire stay. Shampoo and conditioner were supplied too. That is a first in 15+ years of vacations. The kitchen is very well stocked. If you are going to be cooking or baking everything we needed was there. Plenty of use of the crockpot and Keurig. It is obvious the owner and BOGVH take great pride in the house.

The contractors for landscape, pool and pests were also very friendly and made sure to let us know they were there and what they were going to be doing.

With all the choices there are for property management the right choice is BOGVH as their customer service is exemplary.

This is a lovely well maintained home. Very clean. Nice extras we haven't gotten from other rental companies with basic supplies and beach towels. Donna is fabulous to work with. We love the wide flat beach at Indian Pass. Great beach access. Nice pool.

This house was exactly what we had imagined! It had breathtaking views from sunsets and sunrises! We saw dolphins a few times out in the distance! The pool was absolutely needed since the seaweed was bad in the ocean. The house accommodated all of our wants and needs!

Only downfall is that you had to drive 10-15 minutes to the closest grocery or liquor store. Also, the fishing wasn’t the best for the fishermen in our group.

The hostess was absolutely friendly and a hoot to work with!

In addition, the beaches were not crowed at all despite being a holiday weekend, a real plus! House was very clean, fully equipped and met all our needs. Be Our Guest were very easy to work with. Even greeted us with a bouquet of flowers.

My family took a trip to Watersong last week and were blown away by the location, property, pool and closeness to the beach. The owners provided a regular coffee pot and Keurig, a FULL kitchen (even a crock pot and a huge stock pot). We probably over planned a bit and brought way too much BUT one thing I didn't consider was the possibility of bad weather and they had at least 4-5 board games in the closet. The beds and pillows (which I'm a huge critic of) were both extremely comfortable and for 10 people in the house, everyone was happy and had their own space.

Our kids range in ages between 5 to 20 and each one was content and had a blast. The biggest relief for me was the fact that our 5-year old could run to the house by herself, go to the bathroom, grab a snack without fear. Unlike a large hotel / resort, the area was quiet, safe and I had no concerns with her safety.

We had a small issue with the wifi and I emailed the property manager. She got back to me within minutes. The issue was self inflicted as someone unplugged it :) But we were unaware until we found the router. Regardless, the property manager was super friendly and very quick to respond.

We bounced between the beach and the pool most days. But we also took 1-2 days to go into town to go shopping and eat. We had lunch at Sips and Sliders (my bonus son called the 'Rooster' the best fried chicken he's ever had) and my husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the White Marlin (the red snapper with brussel sprouts was incredible, along with the calamari and chocolate cheesecake).

We rented a 2-person kayak through VayKgear and loved every second of it. We actually took it out as we saw dolphins swimming by the house and got about 20 feet away from them. It was truly magical.

This is our third year vacationing at Port St. Joe. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home and enjoyed the beach and the pool equally. This lovely home provided everything that we needed for our stay. We can not wait to return next year

This home was the most beautiful and perfect home for our vacation. A private pool, easy beach access, roasting s’mores on the beach, and a beautiful, clean home! We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Oh & the flowers at check-in were the icing on the cake!

Watersong...the house name says it all! Incredible views of the Gulf of Mexico from virtually every room in the house! And the sounds of the breakers making their way from the gulf to the shoreline are constant and mesmerizing! And if you prefer pool water to oceanic water, Watersong accommodates with a gorgeous pool, equipped with comfortable furniture. The house has everything a family needs to prepare breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner, including a gas grill. And the world famous Indian Pass Raw Bar is literally walking distance from the home, in the event you don't want to make dinner. The property management company/hostess - Be Our Guest - is tremendous! They were responsive, courteous, and timely when we had an issue with the TVs and the Wi-Fi. And...they left us fresh flowers upon our arrival! All in all, our family would highly recommend Watersong for THE PERFECT family vacation.

House is beautiful, very comfortable and was perfect for our family beach vacation. The house was very clean with plenty of amenities! Great restaurant choices nearby.

This was our first time vacationing in a beach house. What a fantastic first impression. The house is very well kept and stocked up nicely just as described. The staff was incredibly responsive and checked to make sure all was well. We’re beyond grateful for such a wonderful experience with a reputable and reliable staff and company.
