About
The “Heart of the Cape” brings all the most appreciated features of a beach house to Cape San Blas. On a quiet gulf front setting on the southern area of the peninsula you will find unobstructed views and an abundance of amenities. This is a large home full of private ensuite bedrooms. The private driveway offers plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers. On the ground level you will find a large, fenced pool/entertainment space including an outdoor shower, shell/fish cleaning station, outdoor kitchen w/gas grill all overlooking a large, heated pool (for extra charge). There is a half bath on this level along with a mudroom including an extra refrigerator and undercounter ice maker.
Taking the elevator up to the second level you will find four ensuite bedrooms, a gulf front family room and laundry facilities. The third level is also serviced by the elevator, features the large living room, dining area overlooking the screened in gulf front deck. The kitchen is outfitted with stainless appliances and a large pantry for all your provisions. Two additional bedroom suites round out this level and bring the sleeping capacity to a total of 16!
Professionally decorated and stuffed with many extras other homes can only dream of, “Heart” is the place where families gather and memories are made! Cape San Blas is a fifteen mile west-facing peninsula in the panhandle of Florida offers amazing white sand beaches, emerald gulf waters and the highest dunes on the gulf coast. The town of Port St Joe is a twenty-minute drive where you will find plenty of restaurants, boutique shopping and a full-service marina.

I highly recommend this beautiful house. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more! The pool area was nice. The short walk to the beach was convenient. Having two washers and dryers was helpful. The owner of this home included many extras that made our week comfortable and relaxing. You will not be disappointed with this house!

Our family of 14 enjoyed a wonderful week-long vacation at Heart at the Cape!
This AMAZING property was spacious, immaculate, and so well planned. They thought of EVERY detail!
Bedrooms and baths were spacious and beautiful. The living area was comfortable and large enough for our entire group. But the kitchen...unbelievable! Two sinks, two dishwashers, commercial stove/oven, large pantry for your food, two refrigerators and an ice maker! It is so well stocked! We cooked at least two meals every day and had plenty of skillets, pans, casserole dishes, etc. There is even a dining table large enough for all of us! Just bring food.
There is a private walkway for the short walk to the beach--we were always almost the only ones on the beautiful beach. They even included beach toys for the kids and adults. We rented tents with the rental credit.
The private pool was perfect for the kids to play in and the adults to relax!
The screened-in decks were soooo nice! We all enjoyed drinking coffee/reading/visiting while watching the waves!
It was such a relaxing time together that provided precious family memories! I'm already sad we're home, but planning our next trip!

This property was absolutely stunning. It had all the amenities we could ask for. All we really needed to bring was our food. It has EVERYTHING needed to prepare big meals. The extra large kitchen with 2 sinks and 2 dishwashers was a great bonus. The dining room table was awesome for nighttime family meals. High chair was a bonus!!
All of the bedrooms were perfect. The bathrooms were extremely spacious. We had enough room and more! We never bumped into each other!
Access to the beach was effortless. Walkway takes you to a mostly private area. Everything needed for the beach is on property. Chairs, toys for kids, floats for the pool AND EVEN BEACH TOWELS!
We are already planning our return!! You cannot ask for a better stay. Even my husband who does not like the beach had a wonderful time.
BONUS: Flyovers from the jets from the airforce base! Large sea shells to be found! Screened in porches to keep love bugs and No-See-Ums away!
Oh... Donna with the management company was always available! Any question we had - she was quick to respond!!

I cannot brag enough on how good this house and our vacation was. Everything and I mean everything was on site! All you bring is FOOD! We had all of our adult children and their babies with them and never bumped into each other. If you have a big family - this is the place for you. Beach access was simple and for the most part a private area. Not crowded and perfect for the kiddos to play. Everyone prepared nice meals on the grill or in the kitchen - 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers, 2 fridges and all the amenities one could need to bake, make a casserole, or a simple salad. We will be back. Already planning next years trip! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

THE BEAUTIFUL Heart of the Cape offers EVERYTHING a family needs to host a memorable vacation. The kitchen is spacious enough and VERY WELL STOCKED to make any meal imaginable. Bedrooms and bathrooms - omg so spacious. ALL YOU NEED TO BRING IS YOUR FOOD! All of the amenities needed for the beach was readily available. No need to rent anything except maybe a beach buggy. The beaches were beautiful and mostly secluded. Nice variety of sea shells to be found. The bonus- the AIRFORCE FLYOVERS!! All children you and old loved seeing them. My husband that is not a fan of the beach, enjoyed himself and also did not want to leave. We are already planning our next visit!!You won’t regret this house! ❤️

This home was absolutely perfect for our vacation! It was beautifully decorated, fully stocked with everything we needed, and had plenty of beach gear ready to go. The beach access was ideal, and the pool was a great size for relaxing and enjoying time together. The area itself was peaceful with fantastic restaurants nearby. We will definitely be returning!

We absolutely loved everything about this home—it was perfect for our group of 10 (5 kids and 5 adults), with plenty of extra space. The views from the living and kitchen areas, along with the screened-in porches, were incredible—truly hard to beat.
The home was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully furnished. The memory foam beds were comfortable, though on the firmer side. We appreciated having beach towels and gear available, and we used the rental voucher for bikes, which was a great perk.
Although we visited during a cold spell and didn’t spend much time in the water, we really enjoyed the natural beauty of the area—collecting shells, walking along the beach, and spending evenings with the well-stocked games cabinet.
The kitchen was spacious and easy to navigate, even with multiple people cooking at once, and having two dishwashers and two washer/dryer sets was incredibly convenient.
Since we were among the first guests, there were a few minor missing amenities (like hair dryers), and the shower water temperature needed adjustment. We shared this feedback with management, and they were very responsive.
Would stay here again and again.
I will agree with the other reviews for this property. It has everything we needed. The property seems newly renovated and is in great shape. It’s also organized well with the kitchen/dining/family area on the top floor and 4 of 6 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. All BR’s are suites and there are 2 half baths near the pool area and family room. We had 10 people with room to spare. The weather didn’t cooperate for much beach activity but the pool and games/puzzles provided came in handy...they’re seem to have though of everything. We had a great family vacation!
