License-free freshwater fishing days provide an excellent opportunity to enjoy a day of fishing for those who don't yet have a fishing license or are visiting from out of town on vacation. Whether you're looking for a free activity idea with the kids or an avid angler from out of town you can plan to enjoy yourself on these days license-free. On these days, the fishing license requirement is waived for all recreational anglers, including both residents and non-residents.
All other rules such as seasons, bag and size limits apply.
