Duneside Cottage

This was our first time staying there. It was perfect for our quick get away. The fact that we could bring our dog made it just fabulous! Even though it was pet friendly you would never have known an dog had been there! Thanks for sharing your place as a rental!

We stayed for a week March 2024. We were a group of 4 spanning 3 generations, plus one dog. We arrived late and after the entry code did not work, a call to the number on the site remedied the situation immediately. This house was the perfect size and equipped with everything we needed. We used the grill and the laundry facilities without any issues. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for the meals we prepared. The beds and furniture were comfortable, the house and grounds were clean, and the beach was fabulous.

Steps onto beach. Excellent views of gulf. Off main road. Convenient to local stores. Well stocked kitchen. Nice beds. Had a relaxing time.

Nice smaller home on the Gulf. Perfect for 2-4 people, even a couple of kids. Would be nice to have a screen on one or two sliders. Would have loved to have the fresh air but the flies made it tough. Only found two large bugs. (One dead already, probably heart attack). Hey, it's Florida. We were there a month and would rent again. Great beach location.

It was quiet, sunsets were awesome. Great food and friendly people at St. Joe shrimp, the Trading Post, Scullys Low Boil, and Webers Donuts! We will definitely be back!

This is our second time staying at this cottage, and it did not disappoint again. The cottage, including appliances and outside areas were spotless. Kitchen and bathrooms well stocked. The weather cooperated, and we have some beautiful photos of skyscapes against a turquoise sea. We brought our dog this time and he enjoyed it as well. Especially hunting for "ghost" crabs at night. No crabs were hurt in the adventure. We will definitely be back.

The house was clean and very well stocked for me and my family. The master bedroom mattress could be replaced as I came home with a great tan but a bad back.. lol I would definitely stay again though. Has to be the best property management I’ve dealt with. It was easy to book and communicate with the team.

We loved our first visit to Cape San Blas! This cottage was perfect for our family vacation! We enjoyed the deck for coffee in the mornings and evening sunsets! Just steps from the beach! Donna was great to work with! We are definitely booking again!

The location and size was perfect for my wife, two dogs and I. Cottage was clean and comfortable and located steps from the shoreline, with dune grasses and vegetation providing a nice break between the beach and cottage. Gas grill LP tank ran out and Donna and staff were prompt in replacing. Overall, a great first visit to Cape San Blas.

We had a great time on our April vacation. House Location, cleaniness and furnishing were excellent, weather close to perfect.

We have been eyeballing this property for years! Finally we had the opportunity to stay here and it was just perfect for our little family of 4 - 2 peeps, 2 pups. Just the right size and the location can't be beat. The house is well appointed with everything you need. We enjoyed the deck so much and it's right on the beach. We were greeted with a nice bouquet of flowers! The only drawback is there isn't a gate on the deck, but we brought our doggie gate, which we had to manipulate a lot. A gate at the top of the steps would make this 100% perfect! No complaints just a suggestion :)

We had some hiccups this stay, our third one. The heat pump failed and it was cold when we began our stay. The toilets backed up on Thanksgiving Day and we had to unstop them. The rest of the week was uneventful.

We loved our rental at Cape San Blas. It was the perfect size for 2 or 6 people. Sitting on the deck, sipping coffee or champagne was our favorite way to enjoy the beach view! We would love to rent this cottage again!

This was a great experience....perfect beach cottage. Literally 20 steps to the beach. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the deck and watching a beautiful sunset.

What a magnificent beach cottage! This was the perfect spot for my mom & I to have a week getaway to the beautiful sands on the forgotten coast! We will definitely be staying here again! The house is equipped with everything you need! The deck is partially covered for the hot afternoons, and the open patio is perfect for stargazing at night! Donna was wonderful to work with and check-in/out was easy!

We loved the location of our beach house! Perfect beach and easy access was our favorite of the trip.

Just my husband and I for a after the holidays winter break. Duneside Cottage was just the right size for us and I loved the walk straight off the deck to the beach. The coffee pot was not the best but we made due with a french press. Will do January at the Cape again. Loved the stay and the Cottage was nice.

This was our fourth trip to the Cape, but our first stay at Duneside. The cottage is great with stunning views. It sits on the beach and the porch is set up for eating, drinking and hanging out. The outside shower was fantastic and the updates inside were awesome. Donna, at Be Our Guest, was wonderful to work with and she took care of everything we needed. We hope to be back in the near future and would gladly stay here again. Thank you!

This was out 4th trip to the Cape, but our first stay at Duneside Cottage. It was a fantastic trip. The cottage sits on the beach with an incredible deck and views. The remodeled kitchen and bathrooms were great. Donna, at Be Our Guest, walked us through each step in the process and took care of everything that we needed. We hope to be back soon!

We had a great week. Weather was perfect and beach beautiful. We have stayed in this beach house now three times and always everything was just right. And Be Our Guest was so helpful! (Thanks, Donna from Donna). We will be back.

We so enjoyed our staff that we are already looking for dates to visit again! It was simply one of the best vacations we've ever had. The house is beautiful and so inviting. Everything you could need is provided. We enjoyed the deck every day and ate all of our meals at the bar looking over the ocean. The beach was just amazing. We can't wait to come back! It was a beautiful spot. It was the perfect size for my family. The home could use some updates of furniture and the bathrooms. Very comfortable master bed. We didn't use the other beds. Plenty of amenities, like blender, crackpot, dishwasher. It was very hot while we were there and the a/c was amazing.

Very relaxing and peaceful, just what we were looking for. No problems with our stay, wish it could have been longer. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Sea Ya Later over the past few years and it was just as nice as we remembered. Hope we can make it down there again next year.

Our family was so thankful for a week at beautiful Cape San Blas . We absolutely loved this cozy house. It is becoming increasingly more difficult to find a small house to rent on the Cape. This two bedroom plus an additional sleeping loft was perfect for our party of six. The house was equipped with absolutely everything we could ever need for our stay. Our beds were comfy and we felt as though we have the entire beach to ourselves. Having coffee on the back deck with the million dollar view Each morning was what I call perfection. Donna from Be Our Guest realty was incredibly responsive two questions prior to our booking. Upon our arrival she checked in with us to ensure we were please with the house and ask if we needed anything. The only glitch was with a small Part needed on a toilet, and Donna had a maintenance person to the house within an hour. I hope you’ll have the opportunity to return again soon. Thank you for a wonderful week, it is so hard returning to reality!

This was our second year in this lovely beach house for the month of February. Beautiful ocean views and just a few steps off the ocean front deck and you are on the beach! Clean, comfortable and well maintained; new furniture in the living room this year. Close to the trading post convenience store and ice cream shop.
